My 1997 monte carlo z34 3.4 engin is holding high rpms

My 1997 monte carlo z34 3.4 engin is holding about 3000 rpms in park and nutral when you put it in gear its at 1500 rpms and im getting the code p0441

I had a similar problem on a 3.4 Lumina Z34. It was a leaking intake gasket. Be careful with the plastic vaccumn lines as they will get brittle.
