Wiring my knock sensor on a 2003 chevy silverado 4.3 v6

You have two knock sensor's, both sit under the in-take magifold on top of the engine, you will have to remove injector rail and in-take.

These sensors are quiet a problem. They are located under the intake and normally go off because the engine got washed sometimes the water will evaperate and the problem goes away but anymays the intakes gota come off there are 2 of them so i would recomend replacing both while ur at it

The knock sensor is on the back side of the engine near the trans. It is round, with a 1 wire connector. You will have to get it from underneath. Good Luck.

The knock sensor is llocated on the left side of the engine block and is a single wire connector. Disconnect the wire and simply unscrew the sensor. Don't worry. There will be no fluid leaking. No tricks.
