If the alternator and the battery are good, the next most likely thing is a bad connection someplace. Remove the battery terminals and clean them up well. Also, try to find your main ground wire, usually bolted to the chassis or engine block, and make sure it's clean. If just one connection is really dirty, the alternator can't get the juice to the battery.

make sure all the wires were connected back to the battery there is a red wire that sits by itself and when you disconnect the battery it tends to fall also check the alternator circuit breaker could be blown.

The New Body Style 5.4 does not have an IAC, this is controlled by the throttle position motor on the side of the throttle body, and is operated by the PCM ( new body style is throttle by wire ).
If this is a 2004 Heritage or lightning ( the same body style as the 97-03 MY ) the IAC is on the back the throttle body, held on with 2 8mm screws. You would need to remove the plastic throttle body cover to get to it.
