Could be any number of thing's , having the 4X4 control module checked for code's is the first thing you should do , before just replacing parts. Do you know what a DTC is ? Diagnostic trouble code .

it can be easily changed by removing the plastic cover then u will see the light bulb, don't try to change it from the back, it wont open :)
