I would suggest just doing a "Google" search on the internet. I copied your "subject" line and got several different hits for downloading the information to buy one of the HAYNES brand books for do-it-yourself-repair manual.

Amazon.com, Bav Auto or Pelican Parts - all online handle the Bentley Service manual for your Bimmer. It's not cheap - $60 but it's priceless with the info you get. Ebay is another possibility.
