Do you know how to use a wiring diagram along with a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter to test electrical circuit's ? Plus ,do you know what a BCM - body control module is ? The driver an passanger door lock switch's are just inputs to the BCM , low voltage inputs. The park neutral switch is also an input to the BCM ,that part is working - taking out of park an into park - locks & an unlocks the doors . The door switches inputs are missing ,probably . Bad ground at G302 or open in wiring . Check the flex boot from the body to the doors - Wire's like to break inside . Free wiring diagrams here http://www.bbbind.com/free-tsb Enter vehicle info. year , make , model an engine size . Under system click on body & accesories ,then under subsystem click on power door locks .
With just the switches not working i wouldn't think that the BCM was the problem , but you never know . Did you disconnect the battery to clean the corrosion ? Sometimes disconnecting batteries can cause electronic modules to act up ,if you know what i mean .

SOURCE: 2004 Chevy Venture Passenger side sliding door

It sounds like you've got a broken wire on the drivers side door. Usually this occurs at the flex point of the wiring harness. Peel back the outer covering carefully exposing the wires inside. Repair any broken or those about to break. Solder & retape or shrink rap with heat gun.Hope this helps. Good luck!

WHERE IS THE NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL ON AN AUDI Q7? WE NEED TO JUMP START A NEIGHBOURS CAR... WE HAVE FOUND THE POSITIVE TERMINAL...

Hi, When jump starting this vehicle make sure that the Q7 is connected first, then connect to the jumper vehicle. Connect 1 lead to the positive on the Q7 and the negative to a good solid body part or engine part. This will then ensure that the vehicle will start on the jumper vehicles battery directly without going through the Q7 flat battery causing the electronics to strain.
Hope this helped.
Thanks

What are the manifestations of low battery for 2002 chevy venture

The red indicator means that the battery is below the minimum voltage required to start/operate the vehicle. Try removing both cables, then clean the cable ends and battery terminals with a wire brush. Check and refill the battery cells (distilled water) if it's not a sealed battery, then recharge it. If you don't have access to a charger, reconnect the cables, jump start the vehicle, and run it for about 20 minutes with all accessories OFF. If it does not take/hold the charge, it's time for a new battery. OR, if this is the original battery, you might want to skip the charge/jump start and just replace it. It's rare for an original battery to last more than 3 or 4 years.

No Power at all Chevy HHR

you don't need to open the rear hatch to jump the vehicle. open the hood and you will see a red cap that is meant for jumping the vehicle. there is a spot labeled ground as well, if there is no spot labeled ground, find a suitable bare metal spot to hook the ground up to. that should give the car enough power to get the key out and open the hatch. it may not be good enough to start the car but from that point you can get into the trunk and either jump it at the battery or replace the battery.

if jumping the vehicle doesn't work you can also try to look for blown fuses under the hood on the drivers side or in the passenger compartment in the middle console under the panel on the passenger side. the panel is held in by 4 clips and the fuse block is under the panel

Jump start 2000 venture

In order to reach the negative terminal to the battery in a 2000 Vebture (I have one) you must first remove the fuse housing. The fuse housing is a large black box that sits atop the battery. There os a single bolt that holds it in place located in fron of the battery bolted into the lip of the motor bay. Unscrew this, then unhook the fuse housing from the cross bar running from the back roght to the front of the motor bay. This is a tight fit so watch your knuckles. Once the fuse housing is out, the negative terminal is located on the backside of the battery. It is a tight squeeze black is negative, red is positive.
