SOURCE: car wont start

these cars go through coil packs regularly as the packs overheat due to their position on the end of the engine. I have 3 lanos and have replaced all coil packs at around 90,000 k's.
Hope this helps.

Car died while stooped at light

if it won't run on starting fluid then you have a no spark issue. i'd check spark out of the coil to the distributor. you could have a bad ignition control module or coil

I have a 98 grand am blew a head gasket, ive had the heads reworked and new gaskets now the car doesn't start, just turns over. what could be the problem?

Check if you have spark at the spark plug. Go buy yourself one plug. Take any plug wire off plug in engine. Attach plug wire to new plug and touch a ground on engine with new plug threaded side. Have someone start engine and watch for spark. If spark exsist, look for fuel problem.
