Rear of interior console between the front seats. There should be access to the adjustment nut on the cable running up to the ebrake assembly.

SOURCE: Emergency brake on a 2002 Caravan

There should be a cable running underneath the car along the rear axle from one wheel to the other that connects to the cable running to the front emergency brake handle.

Follow the cable until you find the adjustment screws and turnbuckle on the cable.

Loosen the screws holding the turnbuckle tight.
Adjust the turnbuckle until the cable is tight.
Test the brake handle and readjust if necessary.

Some cars have auto adjusting rear brakes which will sometimes re-seat by running in reverse and pushing on the brake several times. Try this first!

If none of the above works, you will have to take off the rear wheels and adjust the brakes manual at the wheel hub.

SOURCE: What is the minimum rear brake rotor thickness for

.331 (In thousandths of an inch) If brake rotor measures at or under this
specification, it must be discarded. That's if you have the V6 and 2WD. IF that's not what you have check here

http://www.autozone.com/autozone/repairinfo/specifications/specificationsMain.jsp?categoryName=BRAKES+%26+TRACTION+CONTROL&childCategoryNameForTitle=Brake+Rotor+Minimal+Machining&appQuestionName=Rear&childCatId=24400232&categoryNameForTitle=Brakes+%26+Traction+Control&appQtext=Rear&categoryNValue=24499999&appQId=4294933443&childCatName=BRAKE+ROTOR+MINIMAL+MACHINING&appIdsArray=#

If that doesn't work got to the autozone website and click repair info then click specification, then brakes and then minimal maching.

2002 Hyundai Santa Fe won't shift out of park

If holding the brake on does not release the shift interlock, you may have a bad brake switch or shift interlock solenoid. If you can get access to the shift solenoid (usually at the base of the shifter) you can just tie it in the off position if needed.

I own a 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe and my transmission is stuck in manual mode it won't go past number one I can't get it back over into automatic mode and I want to know what might be the problem

The big question here is how did it work before it got stuck the transmission I mean .
Did it shift OK before it got stuck if no you have a big problem with your trany .
If it worked good then look at the key switch it locks the shift lever so you can't shift it with your foot on the brake or any linkages connecting to this system its all on the steering collum or a linkage to the transmission

I have a 2002 Santa Fe when I turn the key all the warning lights come on but noting eles happens like the starter engaging. What would cause this ?

Probably the connections to the battery are loose or dirty, or the battery is very low in power. Unloosen the connection to the battery terminals and remove the battery. If you have a charger, then charge the battery untill it's coompletely charged. If not, then take it to a garage or shop that can charge it, or at least check the charge. Clean the terminals on the battery and the cables thoroughly, then, when the battery has been completely charged, replace the cables, making sure to tighten them well.
