Where is power(train) control module located?

TCM Transmission Control Module, passenger side, upper bay area, just befor strut, attached to frame rail,
PDC Power Distribution Center is on opposite corner, along with PCM Power-Train Control Module
ECM Engine Control Module is on driver side about midway of engine compartment attached to frame rail.

It's called a PCM back then, power train control module, and it's located behind the right side of instrument panel, often easier to see/access with glovebox removed. Hope this helps!!

The power train control module is under the cowl (where the windshield wipers are).

The pcm or power control module is located on the drivers side of the engine.
The pcm relay is # 4 on the power distribution box in the engine compartment.
Also in the power distribution box in location # 6 is a 10amp mini-fuse for the

Hello, the 2003 impala's dont have a transmission modulator valve. this transmission is electronic controlled by the power train control module. the transmission uses a pressure control sol. inside the transmission instead of a vac. operated modulator valve. if you are having a late harsh shifting problem, this would be more in the area of a pressure control sol. at fault

For 1996 Chevrolet Caprice 5.7L SFI OHV 8cyl the Engine Control Computer is located under hood, driver side, upper engine area, mounted on side of air filter housing. There is no speedometer relay. The speedometer input is provided from the vehicle speed sensor that is located in the tailshaft portion of the transmission.
This input is also used by the power train control module (or PCM) and is used as an input for transmission shifting.

Thanks for using FixYa. The TCM means Transmission Control Module which is part of the PCM or Power Train Control Module and is located in front of the left front tire. You can access it by removing the fender liner.
