SOURCE: 1999 SL1 running rough

Had a similar problem; started fine but lost power under acceleration and would stall. I changed the fuel sensor relay in the fuse box located on passenger side of interior fuse box. Ran fine after that.

Hello; Can you please advise me on what the problem solution could be? I have a 2003 Dodge Durango. This morning when I tried to start the vehicle it just turns over and over without firing. Battery

You need to determine if you have spark at the spark plugs and fuel pressure to the fuel rail. If you do have spark and fuel pressure I would look to the pick up in the distributor as that is what fires the injectors. If you do not have fuel pressure look to the fuel pump relay first, if it is good you are probably looking at a fuel pump. If it has no spark look at the coil or the crank sensor. If everything tests good then ECU.

02 durango wont start

Is it getting fuel and or spark? If the fuel pump is working and the the plugs are getting fire then perhaps a clogged fuel pump strainer is to blame.
If the fuel is reaching the engine, then test the coil. If no spark is event replace the coil.

HAVE TO TURN OVER 3 TO 4 TIMES IN ORDER FOR IT TO START,THEN WHEN IT DOES STSRT IT RUNS ROUGH FOR ABOUT 2 TO 4 SECONDS.

I would change the fuel filter, because that could cause all those things. Those are the warning signs that your fuel filter gives you when it is getting clogged up.

BUT it could also be an indication that your fuel pump doesn't have the pressure it should have or that you need a tune up (pay attention to the condition of each spark plug when you remove them to give you an idea of what shape your cylinder and plug wire are in). NOTE: Oil coated spark plugs unusally show that cyclinder rings are failing; wet - fuel coated - wires or cap failure>

Have a 2006 Dodge Durango. 96000 miles. Regular maintenance. Idling rough, excessive vibration and loss fo power on acceleration. Check engine light flashed at 2500 rpms. Check engine light stays on, but...

i would do a tune up and this should fix your problem, i think the coil packs are around $30 a piece, you can just replace the spark plugs first, then if needed the coil packs. Hope this helped Tim

I put new sparks plugs in my durango and its still running rough. its rough when i start to take off and when im just sitting still but does fine when i really lay into the gas. its a 4.7 lt. engine

i would start changing the coil packs, all eight of them. They do cost some monies but I am sure once they are all changed you gas mileage will improve and it will run better

Rough Idle and missing at low rpms on 2003 Ford Ka

make sure you put the right plugs in the fault is most likely the coil pack follow the plug leads from the spark plugs and you will reach the coil pack about £60

Dodge durango

Check to see if you are getting fuel pressure. If you can not hear the fuel pump run with the key in the on position then it is bad. If you are getting the right fuel pressure then you should check the spark

Idles rough ,loss of power ,sounds like its running on 2 or 3 cyl. changed fuel filter no diff. maybe a bad coil, 2003 beetle 1.8 turbo 4 cyl

I had this same problem on mt 2004 jetta. It had 85,000 miles on it. one day it bagan to idle rough but seemed fine when at higher sppeds/rpms. after a weekm I took it to the dealership and it turned out that a few of the coils/springs were shot. they also replaced my spark plugs, costing me about $550 total. But the car runs great again.
