It may be as simple as your oil condition or oil level. If you have poor oil in your engine the VTEC system will not operate properly and when RPMs reach 2800 or so it will buck. If everything checks okay with the oil have the code checked for your check engine light/VSA light.

SOURCE: 2008 honda accord replace rear brakes

no, 12mm wrench or ratchet on 12mm socket. the piston is tough to push back in. its a twist in type and you will need some force to push and twist the piston back in. - note rear brake pads wearing out on the new 08-09 accords are very common and if under 16-18 thousand miles it may be covered. honda knows about this problem

09 Accord won't shift out of first sometimes!

It sounds like you are experiencing issues with your 2009 Honda Accord not shifting out of first gear and the Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) system not functioning properly. There are a few things you can try to fix the problem:
  1. Make sure that the transmission fluid level is correct and that the fluid is clean. If the fluid is low or dirty, it can cause shifting issues.
  2. Check the transmission for any visible damage or leaks. If you find any issues, you may need to have the transmission serviced or repaired.
  3. Check the transmission control module (TCM) for any stored fault codes. These codes can help diagnose the root cause of the shifting issue. You can retrieve the codes using a diagnostic scan tool or by bringing the vehicle to a mechanic.
  4. Check the transmission shift solenoid and the transmission control cable. These components may need to be replaced if they are damaged or malfunctioning.
  5. Check the transmission filter and pan gasket. If the filter is clogged or the gasket is damaged, it can cause shifting issues.
  6. If the issue persists, you may want to try resetting the transmission control module. This can sometimes fix shifting issues by clearing any stored fault codes and resetting the module's internal settings.
If you have tried all of these steps and are still having issues with your Honda Accord not shifting out of first gear and the VSA system not functioning properly, you may want to bring the vehicle to a mechanic for further diagnosis and repair. They will be able to troubleshoot the problem and recommend the best course of action to fix it.

Have a 2008 Honda Accord that has the ABS/Vsa/and Brake light on want to know what the issue is

Auto parts stores where I live will check the codes for free.
You can order code readers to check the codes for under 40 dollar, well that is what mine cost.
In the post below one guy disconnected the neg cable from the battery and the code cleared and did not come back.
