Its tricky but you need to pop the half circle off to get to the 14mm bolt. Then roll the window down and there is a plastic circle at the top of the door frame. Pop that off and remove the one plillips screw and pop the panel off to get to the remaining 2 10mm bolts holding the door panel on.

SOURCE: How do you remove the door panel?

This panel is held in by plastic snaps. After all the screws are ou it pops off not a sliding type. Hopefully your window rolls down it is easier. !st take the plastic cover off of latch mechanism in rear of penal On the seat switch you'll find the top wooden portion pulls off grab from the bottom. then there is a bracket that unscrews and the seat switch wood pops out. next open the armrest and you'll see a plastic cover held in by a small black screw. remove and then remove the big screw behind it, I believe there is also a screw in the front of the map pocket and possibly 2 more in the center. pop out the light at the bottom of the panel and un clip wire harness. Next pop pout the top side view mirror cover. I believe there may be a couple of plastic grommets on grab handle that pop out giving you access to the screws. Next pop off the door panel by grabbing at the bottom and pulling outwards. be carefully because there is a vacuum line attached to the map pocket lid locking mechanism. once panel is loose un clip vac line and electrical and grab handle linkage. you should then be able to remove panel completely. i do not have an sl in front of me so look very carefully for any screws I forgot to mention. This is the best I can do from memory. good luck

How to install door window in 1993 cadillac deville

The interior door panel needs to come off; the panel comes off by pushing it up from the bottom. Make sure you remove the window, seat, and mirror control panels first and pop off the clip that holds the plastic corner sail panel by the mirror. Also CARFULLY remove the pastic panel with the power lock controls and unplug the wiring harness. Pop off the two plastic covers on either end of the door-pull handle and remove the screws with philips screw driver . After doing this, CARFULLY lift from the bottom. Once the panel as come off, CARFULLY pull the panel far enough away from the door to pull the two speaker connectors off. Put the panel someplace safe, along with the power controls. In order to get to the power window equipment you need to pull back the black rubber sound absorber panel. It is stuck on with a black, gummy, tar like substance. Again, be careful with this as well.

2001 Pontiac Montana Rear heat blows only cold air???

The rear temp blend door is stuck in the cold position ,very common problem on vehicles with rear HVAC units . There is no valve , electric actuator !
Air Temperature Actuator
The air temperature actuator is a 3 wire bi-directional electric motor. Ignition 3 voltage, ground and control circuits enable the actuator to operate. The control circuit uses a 0-12 volt linear-ramped signal to command the actuator movement. The 0 and 12 volt control values represent the opposite limits of the actuator range of motion. The values in between 0-12 volts correspond to the positions between the limits.
When the HVAC control module sets a commanded, or targeted, value, the control signal is set to a value between 0-12 volts. The actuator shaft rotates until the commanded position is reached. The module will maintain the control value until a new commanded value is needed.

Passengers side rear view mirro replacement

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can access the bolts that secure the mirror onto the door
