1. If I remove oil cap the noise goes away. 2. Once the engine is warm the noise goes away. 3. The engine has a small leak. 4. After a hard run 30+ miles I can smell oil. I am suspicious the PVC system is clogging.

I had the same problem at about the same mileage. Replaced the power steering pump and the start up screaming went away! ( The Jeep's and mine!)

It could be a pully bearing going bad, or your power stearing pump. next time you start it when it's cold try moving your steering wheel left to righ and see if there is any changes. The next time try removing your belt before you start it and see if the noise goes away. The belt could be warn out and hard itll it warms up and soften up. Start with a new belt. Good luck

Check under the hood and inspect the valve cover gasket. If it's bad it would explain why you don't see any leaks on the ground because it's probably burning off on the manifold. This ticking you're hearing is a lack of lubrication to the rocker arms. Apart from the valve cover gasket, you should get under the car and inspect the oil pan and oil filter for seepage. Best of luck on your problem.

You will need to change the oil filter housing and the hose that attaches to it, the amount of vacum going thru this box has changed causing an excess in the crank case. do not drive for you may cause damage to cam and crank seals

is possible that a dresser was aplied to the engine to make it look nice and shiny an is now burning it
