I know
this website www.reliable-store.com that i get manuals from, and they have all models online that solve all simple/technical problems like professionals

I also brought for my 1989 BMW, such old model, they had it and it was very good manual. Go ahead, I bet.

Check engine light is on my 2004 jeep grand cherokee laredo and is due to go in for emissions testing. It started after getting gas, then it would go off. Now it stays on constantly.

First check to make sure gas cap is on tight. (yes I know, sounds stupid but it's a possibility) If that doesn't cure light, stop into any good parts store like autozone, Advance, etc and have them do a FREE fault scan, they run the scan give you a print out and reset your lights. If light comes back on you HAVE an issue.

I have a 2004 Jeep GC. Check Enigine lights stays on!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What code are getting after all those new parts?
and what engine do you have,do you know what the original code was, because one code can do a domino affect to other sensors,it doesn't make them all bad.
your problems could be a lot of things ,faulty crank and cam sensors, egr valve leaking vacume,or intake leak of vacume.playing hit or miss with parts is really expensive.

I get a po455 code on my 2004 grand prix

I had a check engine light on for my gas cap. I fueled up and sometimes it would say "check gas cap" So i just plugged it in under the steering wheel and cleared the check engine light from my dash board. So far so good.
