If the window fell, the window regulator is broken. There is no "getting it back on track." You have to replace the regulator.

Hi Rachel . It sounds like the plug on the drivers window motor (Which is also the ecu for that door) has come off or is loose . This will stop the cdl working as well . Regards VW Audi tech

SOURCE: 2001 oldsmobile alero window off track,

first remove the door panel there are three screws that need to be removed first 2 under the inside door handle and 1 on the lower left hand side behind a reflector then pull off the panel it will be held on by push clips, once inside move the plastic weather bearrer to the side ,run the window half way down you should see 2 window holding brackets pull the window up so you can drop it in the brackets, first get some black window adhesive fill the brackets with adhesive put window in brackets and roll it up and leave it up for 24 hrs.If the brackets are broken you will have to replace the whole window motor assemly which you can get on line for 89.00 not the 250.00 at dealer and you can install it yourself its easy to do.

SOURCE: driver side window is off track and stuck about 75% closed

If your power window motor is not moving up or down at all inside the door panel, you will need a new motor.
If your window is stuck and will not move, it is the motor - it is bad.
If your window falls down into the door panel, the window is off track.
Replacing a window motor is an easy fix, get another one from an auto parts store and replace it.
Good luck!

SOURCE: REMOVING A DOOR PANEL

You'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. If needed, you can pull back the weather seal (can't reuse it, but it's not that important) and you will be able to access everything inside the door

SOURCE: how to put a window back on its track in a 02 mustang

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Pull off the weather seal and you can readjust the window from there

The drivers side window fell into the door of 96 rendezvous. How do i put it back on track?

The door trim is held on with a combination of screws and push clips Once you have the trim off you will probably find that the window motor regulator is defective. I would recommend replacing the regulator and motor as an assembly.

Are you sure of the year? Didn't think that they made a 1996 Buck rendezvous

How do I put the driver side power window back on track and the door panel for my 2003 Nissan Altima 3.5SE?

R/R the inner door panel, slide the window back on track, reconnect the window transmission to the window, (or reinstall the trans) bolt everything back together (window motor, window trans to door etc.) Make sure the window is in the UP position. use the switch to raise the window & keep it up if all is back together before finally installing the door panel ( make sure the switch & other plugs are plugged in before the door panel is reinstalled.) Lights etc. Good luck

My front driver window fell off the track or the clips fell apart. I got the interior panel off have realigned the glass...... Now what, is there a diagram of the window and track so that I could just put...

you should have adjustments along the bottom of the tracks, what you need to do, is get the window inside those glides, and squeeze the slides into the edges of the glass window, that should keep it in line and on track here watch this, it might give you a better idea, this is pretty much the same as with Most door glass http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uu3SiUyWo-8

2003 ford expedition back drives window fell off the track

First check what caused the problem. If the window was hard to put up and down then clean the running rails either side move the window up and down with your hand to make sure it is moving freely then just glue the window back to the track with glue recomended for it
