I suggest you try one of those instant download manuals. My brother ( a mechanic) buys it when he can't fix some technical
issue He buys from www.reliable-store.com . A lot of mechanics actually do this. Website is very good for this. Must try it !!

SOURCE: Water leak on driver's side - 2000 Mitsubishi Galant

I was a manager at a Mitsubishi dealership.

There was a "secret warranty" on certain Galants where the firewall seam would fair and leak water into the interior. Call your local dealer to see if your vin qualifies. The fix is to simply reseal the firewall crimp seam with silicone sealant.

Alternatively, sunroof equipped cars sometimes get the drain channels clogged in time. Make sure to clean drain holes and use forced air if necessary.

Lastly, some cars have heaters with pollen filters. If those filters become clogged, condensation can accumulate and overflow into the interior.

If any of these solves your issue, please rate my answer

SOURCE: water on drivers side floor board.

Check under the car to make sure all rubber drain plugs are in place.
( When I had a leak in my 98 Lincoln both sides of the floor panels were wet here the leak was from the moon roof drain tubes.) Look below thats how I found my problem.

Easiest way to find the leak I know it sounds strange but it works. Take a water hose and have someone spray the car down while your sitting inside and look for the leak. Thats how I found the leak in my car. It might take a few times but it works.

SOURCE: water is leaking into the drivers side floor when it rains

let's try something here and see if works,
get a garden water hose and put the most pressure near where you see leaking water and have someone inside the car look for it.

SOURCE: water is leaking in the passenger side floor when

This means your air conditioner drain tube is clogged. This will take about a hour shop rate to repair or if you look behind the glovebox you will see it. Thanks

SOURCE: Broken hood latch on a 03 Volks Wagon Passat

use a long flat tip screw driver and a small hammer. have someone pull up on the hood after you pop it from the inside, then while they are holding the hood up use the screw driver and shove the hook that is above the latch bar. when you hit it you will be hitting it to the right

Water on floor behind driver's side?

Your driver's side heater core most likely has a hole in it, or in the rubber lines, or you've got a horrible weatherstripping set.

Just bought my '03 vw passat wagon today, with

It may not reset for 50 drive cycles. It would be quicker to get it scanned by the dealer who just sold it to you and ask them for the code. If it does come back as a small evap leak then they can clear the code and you can be on your way. If the vehicle was left running during you refilling the fuel, it would trigger this code. Just don't tell them that when you take it in. Play dumb and tell them "it just came on"! let me know if you need anything else.

2001 New Passat Wagon cranks but will not start. This is a recurring problem and has been in the shop 3 times for the same problem including a VW dealer. Each time, a lot of sensors are disconnected and...

From new the fuel pump relay was replaced as they went faulty causing intermittent starting and on my passat and many out there, there is a common problem with corroded wires in the footwell(passenger side in europe) where the pollen filter allows water to leak in and corroded unprotected wires mainly the central locking and fuel catch/windows and alarm. The wires were only covered with cloth tape and the water allows the crimp weld connections to rot stopping functions as the wires rot apart one by one so worth a check.just lift the passenger carpet(possibly driverside in america) and look for a damp floor the remove the cloth tape and cut&solder rotted joints and use decent insulation tape. Some wires face down and the top looks ok but dont be fooled, check the entire area carefully.

2003 passat sedan. water on floor and in heater fan

I don't think it has anything to do with the sunroof. I think you have a leak either around the windshield or under the cowl where the wipers are attached. If it's in the cowl area probably over the blower motor housing on the right and the water is following the vent system to the drivers side. Please let me know how you made out.

Thank you
