I just purchased a 2007 Lexus RX 350. On the way home from the dealer the radio volume changes automatically to a lower volume when hitting bumps. Later in the evening I noticed that the dash light also dim when hitting bumps. Has anybody else reported similar problems?
Weird one this ,i would go for the earth wire on the back of the dash ,and run a seperate one ,or take it back to where you bought it and ask nicely if the vehicle is under warrenty first then hit them with the problem

I was going to go back to where I bought it and was going to ask them to check the battery. I once had an MG that would die when I made a hard turn. It turned out the battery water was low and would cause an open circuit. I filled it with water and the problem went away.
The other problem with this problem is that an aftermarket XM radio was installed in it before I bought it. I was thinking that this addition to the electrical system might be a reason and have to take it back to the dealer I bought it from because another Lexus dealer might not honor the warranty.
My left rear corner started rumbling badly over tiny bumps - just in a parking lot. Two weeks later, the suspension on that corner is super stiff and any little bump at any speed it like being hit with a huge hammer. If I push down on that corner, it almost doesn't move at all. Thanks!
