remove hub ,take retaining circlip out and knock it out with a big big hammer supporting it on an old wheel rim and a tree trunk.this job is easy to do but unless you have the right tools entrust it to a garage who will have a nice press .

SOURCE: Ford Explorer 2006 Overheating

Who determined that the water pump and radiator needed to be replaced? If it was the dealer or an independent garage, bring it back and tell them they guessed wrong. You paid to have the problem fixed and they need to stand behind their work.

This is a problem that's hard to diagnose without being able to check a lot of items and ask questions, but the obvious things to look for if you have a new radiator and water pump (and hopefully a new thermostat) is for air in the cooling system which keeps the coolant from circulating. Also check to see that the cooling fan(s) are operating properly.

How do I repair a timing chain?

the timing chain would need replaced, but as far as the water pump and belt, it would depend on their condition. If the pump isn't leaking and belt isn't cracking, you would just need to replace the mounting gasket. It would be your choice depending on cost.

You will need a book for that...and good luck at finding what you need, the Chilton Books, and others have cut their info. back to maintenance only...for the most part. go to AutoZone, They have a good system, and if you find a friendly Parts Person, they might be able to help you...or you can take it to a known, good, Mechanic...

How do i replace a fuel pump on a 2002 ford

It woild be better to just to buy a new pump, from your vehicle sitting for three years the gas inside the pump became gummy and has a build up of varnish.
it would be more time and cost effective to just buy new one and be done with it.
