Daniel,
Although you didn't ask a specific question; if you have one about your vehicle's air bags, then I recommend contacting your dealer directly or click here for more information:
https://owner.ford.com/tools/account/maintenance/recalls.html
SOURCE: ford fiesta - air bag light keeps coming up.
Common fault on FORD
Usually due to a poor
connection in the YELLOW PLASTIC CONNECTOR underneath the passenger seat.
Just push it together
properly and it should clear the AirBag fault light
SOURCE: ford fiesta 96 air bag
it may be the sensor is playing up as a few fords have that problem with their airbag sensors. but the best thing to do is to take it to a certified mechanic and have them test it. preferably with a scan tool. a ford dealership would have one of these.
SOURCE: where is the passenger air
There is no on/off switch for the passenger air bag in any automobile. You will only find them in 2 door trucks.
SOURCE: I have a 2013 Ford C-max sel. Does this have a recall for the airbags or any other recall
go to ford.com recall notice you'll need your vin #
SOURCE: 2011 ford fiesta air bag sensor location
Which sensor are you looking for? Or are you looking for the control module where all the sensors connect to? The airbag control module (known as the Restraints Control Module (RCM)) is located under your center console (see picture below).
If the vehicle has been in an accident, you will need to have this module recoded/reset. Ford can do it, or you can mail it off to several sites that will recode it for you (I had it done recently for $45).
Hope this helps!
