How do I set up blue tooth on my 2006 Passat?

When you try to pair your phone to the car via Bluetooth are you allowing the car to see it by enabling the phone visibility setting.
To do this go into the phones setting find the blue tooth setting then select visibility this allows the car to see it for about 1 minute 59 seconds then go to the cars settings on the dash cluster to pair the phone it should now find it.

There are 2 bent prongs that hold the light bulb in. The tooth faces down, and the prongs are positioned parallel to each other.

Leave the harness connected as you will use this to wedge it out.

With a hook tool (Walmart in tool section $8) position it over one of the prongs. With the other hand, reach in and pull on the harness down towards the tooth while pushing in on the prong. Once you get that side to slide forward a bit, the other will release.

Be careful not to touch the bulb if you plant to replace or reuse. They are not something you can buy OTC. These bulbs are made in Germany & they are made to be this color. Aftermarket lights have a yellow tint compared to these. They are comparable to the White Star $20 each.

Double check your timing marks carefully. You will likely find that they don't line up perfectly.When you tighten the tensioner pully quite often it pulls things out just a aprt tooth or one tooth. Just loosen it enough to slide the belt off and move the cam gear ahead one tooth even if it's only off a part tooth and you should be okay. Hope this helps.

easy.. start your vechile..set your phone up to search for blue tooth devices and when it find the Rover put in the code 2121

press your mileage reset button then turn key on then off,then repeat,2nd time keep mileage reset button pressed(keep pressed all the time basically)while holding mileage reset left turn your didgital clock then your service light should be off! ive done it on my 05 plate passat.
