It had overheated i changed thermostat, radiator, radiator cap,& water pump ran great for 1 day then the following day on my way to work it overheated and had to be towed. Changed intake gasket manifolds got it started seem to be doing fine, Changed oil, added power steering fluid, and was going to put antifreeze in and water started shooting from my radiator.

Indicates blown head gasket
do a compression test to confirm then replace head gaskets and have the head/s shaved as they will be warped

Testimonial: "Bill Boyd Thank You for your prompt reply. It idles perfect and has power. So I guess my question is How could it be blown head gaskets if it idling and has power? I am fairly new to this so I am still learning. Thank you again!"

I am happy to be proved wrong but the only think that causes water to shoot out is compression gasses and that is head gaskets

Check the radiator isn't, blocked ,then check head gaskets for leaks by putting compressed air in the cylinders and see if bubbles come into the radiator with the cap off.

2003 Buick rendezvous oil in rthe coolant and vise vera

speculation is all I have, but it could be a cracked block, or a warped head/block mating surface. It happens when overheating.
I'm not an expert on the engine, but I know there were lots of problems with those getting oil/coolant mixing. If you ever get it fixed, keep 60-65% dexcool, not 50/50. seems to help prevent.

Ok. guys. i am losing coolant. it is not showing up in the oil and i have no external leaks. i did replace the head gasket and all associated gaskets about two months ago. also have changed the upper and...

If the coolant is leaking at the head gasket or the intake manifold gasket slowly, then new gaskets will have to be installed. The bubbles coming up is a bad sign that the seal of the coolant system is bad or it's overheating the coolant to the point that it boils over.

The overheating may be due to air or vapor in the cooling system not allowing fluid to flow freely.

Did you put a 50/50 concentration of coolant to water into the cooling system?

Also, check the fan to see if it is turning on when the car is at operating temperature at idle.

May need to be flushed out and new coolant installed to increase cooling efficiency.

Good luck on this repair.

the intake gasket problems are on the older versions of the 3.4 litre.spray carb cleaner around the intake and if the idle speed does not increase ,there is no leak.

03 Buick Rendezvous Overheating

If the top hose is hot and the bottom is cold, your definitely not getting circulation. You,ve already done alot of work to this vehicle so you have pretty much answered your own question. About the only thing left is the heater core. Of course, I dont want to be the one to tell you it is definitely the heater core because obviously I am not looking at the vehicle. But If i was a betting man, thats where my money would be.
