SOURCE: Everytime I put my car i park it goes into reverse.

It sounds like you have a damaged shifter cable. It is an adjustable cable but if it is that far out of adjustment then it is probably damaged. Replace it.

SOURCE: hyundai excel 1996 automatic will engage reverse

It appears you have a Forward Clutch FAILURE. Replace the trans after you get it diagnosed and verified by a professional technician. By the way, do you have a Check Engine light? If so, what is the diagnostic code? The dealership can scan the system and find any codes which may have been stored in the TCM (Transmission Control Module). If there were any 'Incorrect Gear Ratio" codes, it's most probably the trans itself.

SOURCE: 2009 Hyundai Tucson, check engine light came on

Did you forget to tighten the gas cap correctly? This has caused many many lights to come on. If not, then drive it till you can get it to the dealer.

2009 sonta wont go into park

the shifter wont move, or moves to park but park does not work?
try to be clear.
are you on flat ground?
are you against a curb
did you wiggle the steering and turn the key and wiggle the shifter to park? at once.

there is thing called park lock out but works moving from P/N to gears active, R/D/L. usually going to N/P is no problem. unless cables are rusty.

Gear shift wont go into park or reverse on 2006 sonata

My 2009 Sonata had the same problem, my wife returned home from taking our child to school and was unable to shift into reverse or park, also unable to remove her keys from the ignition when she finally left the car parked in neutral.

Solution: Replaced the faulty BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH actuated by depressing the brake pedal, even though the brake lights still functioned the switch controls numerous functions. Parts total $20.00 Dealer's diagnostic fee: $110.00... yes it still hurts, but it's better than the torque converter going out as a previous poster had mentioned.

Engine works, but my car won't move when I give it gas.

Could be your clutch or the cable from the shifter has a plastic piece that is easily broken that wont allow proper gear placement
