Hyundai Atos Prime 1.1 2006
Here> 1.1L,
very hard to find photo of gen2 engine
x is water outlet
thermostat should be there.
drain RAD fully or half way , pull hose there. at X
and unbolt the housing to find thermostat.
a new gasket is a must.
It is closer to where water puller or water pump is,you can see there is sensor with socket on it.
gen1 is not gen2 engine, is a fact
and the one in europe again different.
the #1 problem on fixya, is users blind fear or stating their country or the country where it was bought new. CARS are noT ThE SAME WORLD WIDE. even 1.1L .
and 2006 is the new engine merge year, September made.
and in Europe it's an eco something engine.

Check the vacuum hoses, but sounds like the IAC or even the o2 sensors. The computer will pick up on the o2 sensors but not the IAC..Go to your local ADVANCE store and they will check on computer for free :)
SOURCE: Hyundai atos 1.1 2004, 100,000 what parts must be replaced
if it has one, the timing belt should be done, along with a tune up. spark plugs air filter, fuel filter. etc
SOURCE: Hi Please i need help
The dealership can use your VIN and your computer number to get a duplicate key that will work in your ignition. They can also reprogram the computer to bypass the immobilizer. How many miles does you Hyundai have on it. The computer is covered under warranty for 100,000 miles. How much are they trying to charge you in US Dollars?
SOURCE: I need to know what the spark plug gap setting

Hi Wendy Gaylard, I want to help you with your question, but I need more information from you. Can you please add details in the comment box?
the shop manual covers this and all steps.
this car is sold world wide(but not USA)
no country
gas(petrol) << bingo
engine displacement,
1.1L gas gen 2 engine is not gen 1. facts.
if in your again a different engine.
yes some cars , the thermostat can be a huge pain, even hidden under a water pump.
as all FWD cars are, a HUGE pain to service.
in that case we do both at the same time (savvy that?)
i will post the photo of the place it fits.
on most cars it is on the water (coolant) out let housing just behind the ECT sensor
aka; engine coolant sensor the PCM brain uses.
wiki states: this and then contradicts later.
4 Markets (oops not complete)
3.1 India
3.2 Pakistan
3.3 Indonesia
3.4 Malaysia
so now we know, where.
clue #2 Gen 2 engines) Sept 2003 up.
A new engine replaced the old Epsilon four-cylinder 1.0 (and the 0.8 Epsilon sold only in Asia). The new Epsilon 1.1L four-cylinder 12-valve engine delivered 59 hp (44 kW; 60 PS), 5 more than the previous 1.0.
but same wiki shows
In addition, the engine in Europe was updated to the Euro 4 standard and the power rose to 63 horsepower.
