You may have a bad cylinder head or head gasket and the water is scaping by the exhaust; this answer is very sad because the repair may be very expensive. You may need to take it to a shop for a head compression test. I hope this may help.
Take it to a radiator specialist shop for a pressure test to find the leak
Does it over heat? You may have a blown head gasket. Check the compression on each cylinder.

If it's leaking at the top of the engine down. Look at the top of the engine at the front and you'll see a bleeder valve on top a black housing. These housings like to come apart at the glued seams. If it's leaking at the lower part of the engine towards the front, it could be your water pump leaking. Check your oil and if you see the color of the oil looking like chocolate milk, your water pump needs replaced, the oil will need changing as well. Do a coolant system pressure test and see if your hoses somewhere are leaking. Also check for your surge tank leaking. This is the tank that you put coolant into.

Those engines are noted for having bad head gaskets so I would look into having your head gasket cheked for leaks. If you look you should see the seem where the head(which is where the manifolds bolt to and the spark plugs screw into and the cams are on top)meets the block and check for any wet spots on this seem front and back.If it is leaking bad enough you should be able to run the car and let it get to operating temp.and have water presure in the engine then it will be easier to locate the leak.I would also check the oil for any creamy looking substance on the oil fill cap or the oil dip stick which would also indicate a head gasket problem.

Hi,
This is called the water pump weep passage which is a sign that your seal in the water pump has failed.
You need to replace the water pump.
