If you have boken it then there is a problem with the release cable or the latch has siezed if you can grab hold of the end of the cable with pliers or molegrips and get someone to push on the front of the bonnet then you can maybe open it and find out the problem then free off the siezed latch or replace the cable and broken lever

The car dealer will make a new key for you. You just have to have document to show the VIN number and ownership proof.
Hope this helps.

SOURCE: My citroen c3 . 2003 the door lock won't work and my battery has died how do I gt into the car to open the bonnet or can I go underneath the car to release bonnet catch

You should be able to open the door manually with the key and you may have to turn it twice. Also try unlocking it whilst at the same time pulling on the door handle to the opening position or pulling the door handle to the opening position and then working the lock to open it manually. One way or the other it is designed to be opened manually with the key when there is a power failure with the power operated central locking not then operable.

How do I open bonnet on a citroen ds3 when bonnet cable is broken

This will depend on where the break is. If it is broken nearest the lever inside the car you could grab the cable with a pair of grips and pull it that way.
Do you need to open the bonnet to get the vehicle started? If the car runs and drives normally take it to a Good mechanic and they will have the tools to get it open.
If the cable has broken nearer the bonnet release at the front of the car it will be a lot more work.
If you use a torch and look behind the badge on the front grille you might be able to use a long flat head screwdriver to hook the release lever to 'pop' the bonnet but some car manufacturers fit a metal plate behind the grille to stop you doing this.
You could try SAFELY raising the front of the car and see if you can get to it from underneath.
Your LAST and more expensive method would be to damage the front grille and get to it that way.

How to open a bonnet of Peugeot 107 when the release cable is snapped?

Plastic explosives!!!!! LOL

Seriously, I would use an inspection camera to locate the cable that snapped and then grab it with a good pair of vise grips and pull the bejesus out of it. Or check out the latch mechanism and use a cost hanger to get in there and move open the pawl that holds bonnet in place.

Hi my c2 bonnet cable has snapped.

Cut back the sheath around the inner release cable inside the car, and using a good pair of locking pliers (Vise Grips) pull the exposed cable.

Can't open Bonnet bonnet cable failure

The leaver may have broken, or the cable is simply too stretched and loose to open the hood. Another reason is hood might be putting a lot of pressure on the lever, therefore making in near impossible to open bonnet (hood), so you may need someone to push or pull up on it as you pull the lever.

See if you can get at the cable itself, directly behind the lever. If so, cut some of the plastic cover away until you see the bare cable, give the cable a tug with pliers.

I once had to remove the grill to get access to the cable there, I cut into the plastic cover, slid it back and grabbed the bare cable with needle nose pliers and gave that a tug.

See if you can get at the cable, if the lever isn't working remove it (usually two bolts or so) and try pulling on the cable there.

Hope this helps :-)
