SOURCE: Rear seat won't fold down (60 part of 60/40 seat)

I had the same problem on my '03. The seats would not fold down using the latch release as I had always done. So I tried a combination of pulling up on the side latch AND the top latch and the seat folded down. It really doesn't FIX the problem but circumvents offending  defective part. I will use this method until it doesn't work then I might shell out the $$$$$ to the dealer.

SOURCE: replace rear seat belt in 1993 Toyota Corolla

OK. On the front edge of the seat bottom cushion, pull up hard, both sides. This will dislodge the 2 clamps that holds the seat cushion to the floor. Pull the seat cushion out & set it aside. You will now see the female latches bolted to the area where the rear of the seat cushion meets the rear seat back bottom. Remove the bolts (14 mm I think).

There shouls be 2 straps inside the trunk at the top. Both on the driver side but one is for the left side and one for the right side seats. Pulling on the straps releases the 'lock' that should then allow you to pull down the seats from the back seat area.

SOURCE: Volvo V70 rear seatbelt jammed

i know this sounds rough, but pull the seat belt with both hands as hard as you can, this will more than likely free the seat belt, some of the seat belt may have jammed in the gear inside the roller box.......

SOURCE: Fold down rear seats

THE SEAT RELEASES ARE IN THE TRUNK IN THE AREA WHERE THE SPEAKERS ARE NEAR THE EDGE OF THE TRUNK OPENING.

I have a 2007 impala my trunk won't open and my seats Dnt fold how can I get to the trunk to change my tale light

On that model the only way to access the trunk when the latch has broken or has malfunctioned is by removing the entire rear seat assembly.
You need to pull the bottom section(the part you sit on) of the rear seat up and take it out of the car. Under the back section of the seat you will find a pair of bolts that hold the upright section of the seat to the car body. Remove the bolts and lift the seat back section up and remove it. Remove the protective layer and you can crawl into the trunk. You can then access the trunk latch from inside the trunk.

The vehicle should of course have been engineered with at least a narrow center fold down section of the seat from where you can access a manual trunk release . No doubt as a silly cost saving measure it was not designed this way.

your best option is to try unbolting the seat from the car to access the latch then pry it open with a screw driver
after its removed you will need to go though the proces to remove the seat cover and repair the release mech.

Volvo XC90 rear middle seat stuck in the down position

It is pretty obvious from the video that the internal mechanism on the release has broken. This will need internal repairs or replacement of the whole seat by Volvo or a mechanic. Sorry :(

I can't into my trunk there is something stuck therefore i need to fold down my rear seats and move it but i don't know how to fold them down I trie but i got nowhere

Be sure that your model has fold down rear seats...you should see the seperation around both rear seats...if equipped, the fold down release is located at the top corner of each rear seat...pull the lever up to release...if your model does not have the fold down option...you will need to remove the rear seat...remove the lower cushions first...look on the lower front of the seats for hold down bolts...second you will need to remove the top of the rear seat...hold down bolts are at the bottom of the top cushion...after removing the bolts (one each side) you need to push up on the cushion to remove...this will then allow access to the trunk...find the trunk latch and try to release by twisting the latch cable...Hope this helps...

How do I remove the rear seat on a 2001Volvo V70?

I am going to assume you mean the normal rear seats, not rear facing seats in the very back.
The rear seat folds down. The benches fold up from the back. When they are up you can see how to easily remove them if you want.
When the benches are up the backs fold down. There are levers on the top the slide forward to release them so they can be folded down. Tip the outboard head restraints forward by pulling their straps. The center head restraint has a button behind its right-hand support that you push to allow it to be lowered.

Rattle from rear supention on uneaven road surface

Could be the door panel rattling around.
the main other squeak culprit in these models is the latch and pin that locks the rear seats upright. If these get slightly worn or are not properly and tightly adjusted, they can cause the most annoying squeak! Easy to check this one. just fold seats down and drive and see if the noise goes.
it would be better if you tied electrical tape around the latch.
