Check for applicable trouble codes, see if anything related to evap system? Your emissions system probably pulls a small vacuum on the gas tank and evap system to check for leaks, If it doesn't pass the test, you will get an evap code or gas cap lite? The place that replaced exhaust system can they check for trouble codes? Anything?
To check for codes, yourself, at the least, you need an obd 2 code reader.
I don't know if exhaust repair caused a problem or just coincidence?

231 something to do fuel pump,thermostat open,replaced.check fuse and relay fuel pump.

That sounds like a bad spot in the throttle position sensor. Have you checked that, or substituted a new one for it?

This is for car and truck problems.

I had the same problem. I replaced all the bearing, races, all of them where bad. leaking seals. bearings had metal shavings in the oil. so i replaced them. still code 545 164. I found that the bolts that hold the abs module was not tight to to the frame(in the middle back of the truck). I tightened them up and , wow no more 545 164 on start up and after letting of the park brake go away. Tighten the abs module bolts to the frame dude. I think it a ground issue.

the original fancy nancy boy car ,as they were called and still are even here in spain This is a serious problem as teh vehicle will not pass its annual mechancial inspection ,offhand i have no idea what could be wrong and i would to play with the vehicle to determine whats wrong but i would change the indicator unit flasher and see what happens first

Only a dealer or a well-equipped shop will have the tool that will plug in to the computer connection, read the fault code, and clear it.
The most popular aftermarket SRS code reader (Peake) works only through mid-year 2004 models. I don't know of any reasonably priced tool that will work on a 2007.
The dealer will charge $$ for this two-minute job, so hopefully you know a good, well-equipped, independent shop in your area.

The P0700 refers to a Transmission Control System Malfunction. It's a generic code in that it's a warning to have your transmission computer scanned to get the precise codes in order to diagnose the problem further. Apparently, transmission issues are common in all Chrysler products in the mid 2000's . Have the car scanned for a more specific code and post back your results for further instruction.
