My sister has 1.5 diesel modus automat. It has auto or manual mode. Sometime when she's driving in auto it goes out of auto into manual on its own accord. She then has to stop the car and put it back into auto. Is she doing something wrong or is it a fault

I had the same problem. My car would shut off without any warning, I changed my Main Relay located under the dash, right below the change slot on the left hand side. I have not had a problem since. The price at Napa Auto parts runs about $68.00. This should fix your problem.

there is air in the fuel line causing the fuel not get to the injectors. you will have to open the fuel ine AT the injectors to bleed out the air while someone turns the key as if starting the car.

disconnecting the battery only for a few moments won't do anything the PCM has a back up battery inside to keep codes stored therefore you have to disconnect the battery anywhere from 1 to 2 hrs.
