SOURCE: where is throttle position sensor located on 2000 honda passport

Normally attached at opposite end of throttle linkage. Remove your air cleaner intake hose at throttle body, and observe throttle plate that opens & closes as you press accelerator, it will be at the end of that, on outside of housing.

SOURCE: Where is the cam shaft position sensor located?

It's not that hard to replaced, and can be done with common tools.  3.4 camshaft sensor removal:
Remove the serpentine belt, Disconnect the sensor wire harness, Remove the power steering pump (just remove it from the mount and out of the way), Remove the attachment bolt to the sensor, Remove the sensor, (note spray around the sensor with brake parts cleaner before removal to keep dirt from entering the engine)
To install: Lubricate the new O ring with engine oil before installing the new camshaft sensor, Tighten the retaining bolt to 8 ft.lbs.  connect the sensor's electrical wire, reinstall the power steering pump, reinstall the serpentine belt.
Start the car and go out for the night with the money you just saved, You can pick up the camshaft sensor at Auto Zone and they can also give you the step by step instructions to getting the job done. Good luck and hope this helps. Take's just under 1 1/2 hour to do. You can do it in under 1 hour though if your good with tools.

2000 honda crv no spark and tach shows no rpms while cranking over?

Sounds like you may have a defective Crankshaft position sensor. You might try checking the connector that goes to that sensor and make sure it is plugged in properly. Always disconnect the battery before doing so.. Good luck

2000 honda crv willnot start-no spark

remove the ignition coil pack and have it tested at a local auto parts store. If its still good, try replacing the crank or cam position sensor. If you still get no spark, then you will need to follow up with the tech manuals for thorough trouble shooting instructions.

HONDA CR-V

OK, you have a code PO341 which means their is a problem with the signal the ECU is receiving from the cam sensor. It does not necessarily mean the sensor is bad. It can be one of these things.
1. Cam sensor wiring routed too close to spark plug wiring (causing interference) 2. Poor wiring connection at cam sensor 3. Poor wiring connection at PCM 4. Bad cam sensor 5. Damaged reluctor wheel You replaced the cam sensor and the problem is still there so we can assume that a defective cam sensor was not the problem. Do this.
1. Check that the wiring isn't routed too close to any secondary ignition components (coil, spark plug wires, etc.) 2. Visually inspect the wiring at the sensor for any burn marks, discoloration indicative of melting or chafing 3. Visually inspect the reluctor wheel through the cam sensor port (if possible) for any missing teeth or any damage 4. If reluctor isn't visible from outside the engine, visual test can only be done by removing cam shaft or intake manifold (depending on engine design)
