My two lava lamps don't work even with new bulbs and fuses ?

canada or USA, (diffr. laws, different wiring, even DRL up there)
station wagon or NOT?
THE TURNS FUSE BLEW OUT. 2nd time, 3rd,,,?????
that means the circuit is overloaded or shorted.! (prevents fire)
but did it blow a 2nd time, why not say so???

all 4 lamps dead. or stuck on, or flash odd. or what? dim?
does the cluster lamp flash, , in blink or emerg. mode?
wont work , means what, (dead or stuck on or dim)?????
do emergency flashers work? ,dead, stuck on what?
does car drive perfect day or night?
are any other things on car dead, of odd acting?
we see all this , 1st 5 min in a shop, zero here.

dash box fuse 4 kills blinkers

EF1 (engine fuse) 1 good?
dash fuse 14 and EF1 can kills emerg. flasher

so of Emergancy flash lamps blows fuse 14,(smaller of 2)
then the blinkers are in fact shorted.
does it?
if yes, then find out which side blows the fuse 3.
turns left blow or turns right blows.
so if say turns right blows, F4 fuse.
if true ?remove all bulbs front rear right bulbs.
does the fuse hold now,(means not blown)
then buy new lamps there. problem solved
bulbs can in fact short.
not just blow open.

For sure emergency flash,

Bad switch, broken wire, bad fuse.... Corroded lamp socket. All possibilities....

Transmission slipping when changing first gear.

If the lamps and bulbs are ok I would initially suspect the hazard warning light switch, then the indicator switch, the multiway connectors and then the wiring.
There is generally only one fuse for the indicators and as one side is working it can be assumed power is reaching the indicator circuit.

The brake lamps on your Mercedes are computer-controlled. I would recommend scanning your computer network for possible fault codes.

They are almost always on the same fuse as parking lamps. My guess is that the bulbs are bad, or you have a wire issue, or even dirty sockets for the bulbs.

If other parking light work in the front or the rear than you don't have a fuse problem.You need to check the wiring to that lamp or you just need a new bulb.

check wiring that comes of signal lamp switch;also check all fuses even if otherside works,good luck.

Sometimes even a new bulb will not work. If you have a Digital Multi Meter you can check that you have power going to the rear. I know that sometimes when a vehicle loses a bulb in one end that it can make the other end stop working. With that said, I suggest that you double check to see that the front works. I used to own a 98 Cavalier RS with the 2.2 liter motor and I know that there are fuses under the hood and behind a little door on the drivers side in the car. Might check fuses under the hood also.

Check the 10 amp "Tail" fuse. This controls the running lamps.
Note that the rear bulbs are "dual filament" bulbs, and even though the brake lamp feature works, the running light feature in the same bulb can be bad.
