What do i do to get my cadillac escalade out of driveand into park? I dont want to go under the car while its running to cxheck the likkage

Is it only when you are moving?? If so then it could be your tranny, but i would replace the universal joints in the drive shaft first. hint hint cheaper first.

You might have a bad transmission/brake interlock switch. First, try rocking the vehicle back and forth to see if that frees it up. If this doesn't work, then the most likely cause is a failed interlock switch. They are usually located in the steering column. Some of them are fairly easy to change depending on your level of experience. Check out a new one at the parts store if your not sure what it looks like. I hope this helps you.
