9141 does not exist I will assume it is DTC P0141 HO2S Heater Performance Bank 1 Sensor 2

The VCM has the capability to monitor this process by using the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S Bank 1, Sensor 2). The HO2S (Bank 1, Sensor 2), located in the exhaust stream before the catalytic converter, produces an output signal which indicates the storage capacity of the catalyst; this in turn indicates the catalysts ability to convert the exhaust emissions effectively. If the catalyst is functioning properly, the HO2S signal will be far less active than the signal produced by the Heated Oxygen Sensor (Bank 1, Sensor 1).
When the HO2S temperature measures below 360°C (600°F), the sensor will not produce any voltage and will behave like an open circuit. This will result in an Open Loop operation.
The HO2S heater provides for a faster sensor warm-up which allows the sensor to become active in a shorter period of time and remain active during long extended idle. The DTC P0141 determines if the HO2S is functioning properly by checking the response time of the sensor. This DTC is a type B DTC.

SOURCE: check engine light on

P0101 : Mass air flow censor, Air intake is blocked or the sensor is nackered.
P0172: System too rich bank 1. There's too much fuel, probably to do with the air fuel mix. If you sort the air flow meter that'll sort the two.

Cheers

Po101 code

Before replacing the mass air flow sensor, try replacing the air filter and cleaning the air flow sensor with low compress air or mass air flow sensor cleaner. Reset code and drive vehicle. Check for air leaks on or around any intake pipework using a good spraying of carb cleaner, if the engine surges then that's the leak. Check wiring to Maf and if the inside is dirty, again use carb cleaner liberally...NOTE: do not use Wd40... If the code comes back, it may be necessary to replaced the mass air flow sensor.

GMC Sierra Code P0300 Check engine light

GMC Sierra with the code P0300 Q: I have the 2003 GMC Sierra with the code P0300. What could be the problem? A: The code P0300 means "Random Cylinder Misfire". This means that the engine computer has detected that one or more of the cylinders misfire randomly. This code could take some time to diagnose, as there could be a wide range of reasons for the engine cylinders to misfire. Here are just a few examples: bad spark plugs, ignition wires, distributor cap/rotor, bad fuel injectors, bad airflow sensor, broken or weak valve spring, leaking valve, low fuel pressure, manifold gasket leak, clogged catalytic converter, etc. Take your truck to a knowledgeable mechanic and have it check out - driving with the misfiring engine can damage your catalytic converter.
The mechanic can scan the engine computer with the scan tool and see the conditions when the misfire happens and check which cylinders are misfiring. A number of of other things will need to be checked to find the cause (e.g vacuum leaks, exhaust back-pressure, compression, etc.).

I have a 1997c1500 check engine light is on i put a computer on it the code is po101 can anyone tell me what i need to do to fix the problem so i can pass the e check

Basically this P0101 diagnostic trouble code (DTC) means that there is a problem with the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor or circuit. The malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) will illuminate. the simplest thing to do is to reset the code and see if it comes back.

Is there fusies goijg to you o2 sensor if so could that make my 2002 chev truck lack power got alot of codes po157 po101 po161 po 135 and po300 any help

yes check fuses for contact problems this is the one in the engine compartment also replace fuel filter check battery for being weak check fuel pressure and check for vacuum leaks also for code po101 replace air filter. the codes may say low voltage but what it really means is the time it takes for the o2 sensor to heat and switch lean can mean low voltage if it were high voltage we would check for a short circuit

How do you reset the check engine light on a 2003 gmc yukon xl

the check engine light means you have a trouble code in your vehicles computer. After fixing the problem with the yukon the check engine light can be reset sometimes by disconnecting the battery and disconnecting the ECM fuse. Although some parts stores are known to check your codes for free they might also clear them with a scan tool.

I have a 2003 gmc yukon 5.3 the engine idles rough sometimes the idle will get so low the engine will shut off.(the engine runs good while driving) hooked to scaner po101 maf/vaf (dont know what vaf is),...

you have a vacume leak somewhere.check all of your vacume hoses for leaks.Injector seals can cause this too. Also intake gaskets could be leaking.Running to lean usually means the car is getting to much air coming in.To check leaks spray brake cleaner around the hoses and the bottom of your intake if the rpms change then you found a leak.

Code po101, hard start when hot (have to hold W.O.T. to start) & stumbles on accelertion. Changed MASS sensor, no help.

Basically this means that there is a problem with the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor or circuit. The PCM detects that the actual MAF sensor frequency signal is not within a predetermined range of the calculated MAF value for more than 4.0 seconds.  I would try cleaning out your MAF sensor with some carb cleaner and reseting the check engine light to see if it comes back on.  If it does, get back on here and let us know and we will walk you through some other things you can try.  Cleaning it out will be the easiest/cheapest thing for you to try right now.  Good luck.  Thanks for an honest rating and for using FixYa.
