Enter car ensure all doors are shut
Switch ignition on [do not start car]
Press and hold lock button on key for 10 seconds
Switch ignition off
Wait 3 seconds
Exit and check its reset ok.

weird this one ,but what i normally do when confronted by a mixed up electrics and that is to run a new feed wire and disconnect the original

Your Durango possibly needs a CTM or Central Timing Module. The module is located behind the kick panel down by the drivers feet on the left.
The repair commands a ~$500 price for parts and labor, and they will need both your remote fobs to program them to the system.
