SOURCE: 2003 civic temps go up with ac on

Seems like the a/c radiator fan is not working. Either the fan itself is broken, or the power wires that drive it are not connected. The fan is tripped by a/c compressor activity, and goes through a relay unit, which actually trips the voltage that feed this particular fan. You can check fan activity with car parked, and turning on the a/c . if you cant recognize the louder noise of this fan, stick a straw into the fan to check if it is turning. Careful with fingers.

Check your coolant level it may be low, that is the most common cause of this, air in the system. If the system is low you have a leak, find it.

Reset the system by the following procedure:
1. Turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position with the odometer reading shown.
2. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position while holding down the "ODO/TRIP" knob.
Hold down the knob until the light goes off. Before the light goes off, it illuminates for 3 seconds, flashes for 2 seconds, illuminates for 1 second.

Check to be certain the park lights are not on...turn the round knob...It also dims and brightens the interior lights.

Oil pressure in 2003 Chevy Tahoe pegs under 2k rpm and goes to 0 above 2k, but oil level is fine, and there is no noise coming from engine. Temp is fine, too.

How do I take off the door panel on a 2003 Chevy Tahoe to repair a power window? Seems as if it's going up and down, but without the glass!

here is a website with a good explanation. http://www.ehow.com/how_5613056_remove-door-panel-2003-tahoe.html as far as the window goes you will have to replace the regulator(the cables that move the window up and down)

2002 tahoe races when first starts then chugs badly until it warms up then runs great. It sets only a p0171 code and all this happens only when when the temp outside goes below 45 deg.

Radio volume goes up and down when its on a low volume not on high

Check the dealer and see if your radio automatically adjust to your speed. Some radios were built to raise the volume when driving at higher speeds and when you get in slow traffic or when you stop it would automatically adjust down the volume. You can also go to a Radio Shack and get a spray cleaner for electrical parts and pull the volume knob off of your radio and spray the volume control and turn it rapidly to remove any hidden dirt on that volume control.

Ac compressor goes on an off,even when the a/c is off... The heater works fine ..... The a/c works occaiconally....The system has been filled 2 months ago.... No leakage...... The compressor always stops...

Most cars and trucks are set for the A/C to run in defrost. Even if you have the temp at hot. The air will pass through the evaporator core first witch draws moisture out of the air. That is why you see water dripping out of a car with the air on and sitting at one place.

The dry air makes the defroster work faster. It is a safety feature.

Service reminder light is on. need to reset

Reset the system by
the following procedure:
Turn the ignition key to the “ACC” or “LOCK” position with the odometer reading shown.
Turn the ignition key to the “ON” position while holding down the trip meter reset knob.
Hold down the knob for at least 5 seconds.
The odometer indicates “000000”
and the light goes off.
