Line fuse? That might be an inline fuse that is connected directly in the line. Usually close to the battery or power source. Check the owners manual.

SOURCE: Jeep wrangler Fuse box

i had the same problem. i drive a 95 so im not sure if it differs from were the fuse box is. look righ above you pedals to your far left. it should be right there. also if you instruments went out it will be a 15 fuse. its a blue fuse. next my panel went out cuz of the wires on my transmission. if yor looking at your jeep at the front. the wires will be on your left. make sure they are not burned or anything. it will be right on the side of your tranny. mind got burned by the exaust so they were shorting. check that is and see if that is what is it. for a temp fix just put some electrical tap around the wires and you should be set for a wile. good luck

SOURCE: What does the auto shut off fuse do? 92 Jeep Wrangler.

The auto shutdown relay in your vehicle is controlled by the computer. If the computer does not see a signal from the crank or cam sensor, it will turn off power to the relay which in turn shuts off power to the fuel and ignition system. Unlike those in many passenger vehicles, it's not connected to an impact sensor. (as jeeps are off road vehicles as well as being transportation, if they had an impact sensor, they would be prone to shutdown when traveling over rough off road terrain)
The fuses to the relay are affected by shorting or overload of any components they serve, or by a problem with the relay itself.

SOURCE: my jeep wrangler 2008 has

Welcome to the world of modern technology, where the vehicle manufacturers are having a race to see who can do the best job of keeping a vehicle owner from diagnosing something as simple as a light circuit! In an attempt to FORCE them into the dealership repair shops. Please check out this web site: Right To Repair

Okay - Here's how the manufacturer has succeeded in deterring any DIY attempt to repair your park lamp circuits:

The light switch does not actually switch the lights on or off. The light switch is actually a small computer that sends a digital signal to the Body Control Module (BCM) to tell it that you are "requesting" that the lights be turned on.
The BCM (if it decides to comply) then sends a digital signal to the Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM) This is the thing under the hood that most people would call a "fuse box", however, it also contains a small computer. Fuses M17 and M18 in the TIPM are what provide power (protect the circuits) for your park lamps (both are 15 Amp fuses). I am assuming that these are the fuses that you checked. Please note that these fuses are "switched". They only have power when the power is turned on by the TIPM, and this only happens when the BCM tells the TIPM to do so.

If you are checking the fuses with the ignition switch in the RUN position and the headlamp switch in the PARK or HEADLAMP position and there is no power at these fuses, you will have to use a scanner that can read the data from the BCM to find out why.

If your headlamps are working, I would say that he problem is not a data communications problem between the headlamp switch and the BCM or between the BCM and the TIPM. It will most likely end with replacement of the TIPM, but then, the data really needs to be checked before replacing ANYTHING.

Most American-made cars have a fuse box under the dash. Check under dash at driver's side firewall. May have a cover that you will need to open. Also see fuses under hood in area around the steering column.

possibly a bad switch... but, more than likely a bad relay/fuse. Check all the fuses first then all the relays. Power going to both those switches can be shorted out. let me know, there are more things you can test to diagnose...
