2002 accent washer pump not working. How to replace

the switch is burnt out. get one from a wreckers, reverse switch in tranny is sticking. shift in and out of reverse alot of times.

The hatchback Accent has two windshield wipers--one on the front and one on the hatchback so the pump can run to pump fluid to them each separately. You need a specific pump for that. I have had 4 saturn, 1 subaru, 1 suzuki, 1 hyundai wagons and all of them had a separate pump and reservoir for the rear wiper. Are you quite sure that the front pump supplies the rear window?

the pump is sometimes in the resevoir that holds the winshield washer fluid in the container itself

if it's real cold where you are, it could be frozen! Otherwise, check the little holes and try poking a toothpick in them or pour some warm water over them... Anither thing is the washer pump could be out, the rear one is seperate

It is behind the passenger side fender in front of the tire. You have to remove the plastic inner fender well to get to it. And the metal pins on the pump that go into the wiring plug have probably corroded off. Mine did that while still under warranty.

The washer pump is installed on the washer reservoir itself just look for the filling cup of the reservoir and the pump is right below RH fender probably.most probably you need to replace it

you can buy a in line pump most anywhere and it just goes in the washer fluid line and the wires from your old pump will need the ends changed to make it work.they come with good instruction.

Your Accent has rear wiper/washer.. correct? That's where the 3rd wire comes in. They sold you/you bought the wrong pump. Here's the wiring diagrams:
