There are separate fuses for the left and right seats in the fuse block . Also, check the connectors near the heat unit under the seat as one may be loose or corroded .

You have probably burnt up the element as it is a 17 year old seat now. The elements are replaceable, but the labor is pretty spendy. To test it you will need a multimeter to check for continuity across the connectors that go to the seat heating elements and check for voltage at the car side of the connector. If you have 12v to one side of the connector and continuity to ground at the other side, and do not have continuity to the seat side between the connectors, you know it is a bad element.

1999 Buick regal gs heater not working if i hit top of dash or the side it will come on. But now that isn't working please help

If its the fan thats not coming on then i would check the blower motor resistor these are known for losing there connection at the pigtail. The location is usally on the passenger side down close to floor mounted on the heat duct with two screws.First try wiggling the pigtail with the ignition and fan switches on.

1998 buick regal gs heat blows hot on passenger side and cold on the driver side.

Same problem on my 98 Regal GS; remove glove box, locate the blend door actuator, (black odd shaped box with metal "ring"). Remove the box and manually turn the blend door shaft it was attached to. If you get cold air, it's the actuator you removed. About 30-40 dollars.

Heated seats dont work what to look for?

If the buttons light up when you turn them on then the fuse is good. What usually happens is the element of the heater part burns or break and the heater will not work. This is a 2 part heater. One for the back and one for the bottom. If one goes neither of them will work. You have to ohm both to see which one is bad and replace it.Usually the bottom because it takes the most abuse. If the light does not come on then check the fuses and check connections under the seat.Good luck.

Driver heated seat not working

Check you connections both under the seat and at the switch. Many times corrosion will occur due to the amount of amperage that goes through the circuit.
