25 amp fuse for AC/HTR in the fuse /relay block (or junction block) to a brown wire to control head.. Also a fusible link from junction block to heater/AC controls on a red wire, also at the control head.
Pull off the control unit so you can get to the electrical connector, then look for power on those two wires, with key in ON. This is how you start diagnosing the panel-see if it is getting proper power first, then test individual parts.

there is a light behind the control panel. You need to find it and replace it.

1993 Chevy k1500 HVAC Controls light up when they want to. when the panel lights up everything works fine. but when it doesnt nothing works. checked the connection of the panel and everything looks fine....

What you need to do is replace the control head. They had problems with these.Changed a few myself. If the connections and the wiring looks good then replace it.Hope this helps.Good luck.

Heat dont work might be bad hoses or put on wrong need diagram on how it goes 1993 Chevy K1500 getting sick of the cold

The hoses are two different sizes. One will be 3/4 and the other 5/8.No way to mix them up.May be your blend door not opening alowing air to flow across your heater core.I am not sure if there is a mixing/control valve.Feel both heater hoses as well as your top radiater hose just to make sure that the thermostate is not bad.You can look on napaonline.com and search "heater"to get a look at the door motor. You can remove it and open it by hand to see if you get heat.Well hope this helped.
