bank 1 is always the drivers side of a motor,since it is sideways in the car,bank 1 is in the front towards the radiator,look for the second sensor on that exhaust manifold,and that will be sensor 2

follow the lower radiator hose to engine block,you have to raise the vechicle remove thermostat from the bottom,besure secure vechicle with jack stands.
