Isn't there just a connector under the seat so you can just leave the switch in the seat and disconnect the connector below ?

SOURCE: How can I remove front row seat headrest?

Most volvo headrest can be removed by releasing the catches which are on the back of the headrest on some models and on the front on others I believe on 960 they are on the back. To release the seat on a 960 look where the shafts should be then follow it down on the back where the seat back top stops then goes in press around that area you should be able to find the catch there pull up on the headrest while releasing the catch you have to do this on both sides. The headrest should come off this also works on 740 and 760 series the volvo 780 is a different story the only way to get the headrest off on that is to disassemble the seat

SOURCE: Headrest removal

When you pull it up all the way, you should see a very small hole at the base of the rod. Poke a small nail in there and that will release the catch.

How do you replace a seat belt?

Locate the area where the seat belt originates.

Remove the safety bolts located under the casing with a socket wrench. At the other end of the seat belt, remove the nut which holds it in place with a wrench.

1994 corvette seat removal

There are two bolts in the front and two bolts in the rear, remove them and then disconnect any wiring connectors and pull the seat up and out of the car, careful not to damage the dash or body panels.

I have a 2002 corvette with power seats. Need to know how to remove seat from car.

The mounting nuts are usually hidden underneath plastic covers where the slides meet the floor. Remove these covers, unscrew the nuts and unplug any wires, lift the seat out. If the nuts are not located inside the car, they will be directly under the seat on the underside of the floor pan.
