2004 Chevy Trailblazer VOLTMETER flickerin back n forth/starting

I purchased a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer from a dealer, and have had no problems other than the drivers headlight went out, and i replaced it~ very easy!, and someone told me that my taillight was out, so i replaced it, very easy! Now, it all of the sudden did not start, when i pulled in after driving 40 miles home from work the other night. It started in the morning, but later today i noticed that the dash voltmeter was bouncin' back and forth between top dead center, and below. Jus' a 1/4 inch from top dead center and back from like 11 or 12 volts- i believe. Is it the voltage regulator? or is the alternator about to go out? I know that it would of been completely dead had the alternator not been chargin' the battery. It had 63,000 miles on it, when i bought it for $7,900.00, and now it has 85,524 miles on it. It was clean when i bought it, and still is. Please help me out!
Thank you,
Giovanni

2004 Chevy Trailblazer LT. What is oil path detection?

Your vehicle already has an alarm and immobilizer fitted by the factory and you can't have two! Fitting alarms and remote starters is a skilled job and needs a pro grade scan tool computer. Take it to a local alarm / radio installer. It's not expensive and the job will be done right. The way the OEM equipment works is very complex and needs to be disabled first.

Amazon stuff is 'Sell and Run', you have no warranty or support. At this price, it can't be a quality system. Read the 1 star, 2 star and 3 star reviews and send it back! The 5 and 5 star reviews are 'verified purchases' from people that got it for free and didn't fit it.

Where is the factory amp in a 2004 chevy trailblazer

I suggest you have the dealer look at this, you can't get parts for the AMP as GM doesn't sell them to the public just authorized repair shops

Trying to take out transmission in a 2004 chevy trailblazer and have taken all bolts out and transmission still will not come out. why?

it may be seized in the dowel pins. I run into this once in a while. There is a dowel pin on each side to align the engine block and the trans case. I heat the aluminum a bit to expand it and then, with careful prying and working it back and forth, it will come free. I like to clean up the holes with a file before putting back into the truck. :)

I have a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer LS with strange noise.....

If it is making a noise in the belt area, have them check the water pump. These get loose water pump bearings that cause belt noise.

Try to move the steering wheel back and forth. If that don,t work try to disconnect the neg - side of the battery. this will at least kill the engine.
