2000toyota land cruiser alarm going off after it was ran through a car wash any ideas what it could be and no warning lights coming on

I had a similar problem and the knock sensor turned out to be the faulty.

check the parking brake switch if it is engaging and disengaging when you pull the the parking brake.

You may have upset the sensor on the chassis rail which has set off the light,it can take a while to set off ,the damage is minimal and the sensor is slow to crack internally or fail,you can try to disconnect the battery for 1 hour or so but no guarantees on that but even so it can work ,if the light comes back on you may need to see a dealer ,check at the front of the rails under hood for damage of any kind

I've had a similar issue. Turned out the Alternator was clogged with mud and wasn't charging anymore. Pulled it out and apart, cleaned it out and put it back and voila! Problem solved. Check the output of your Alternator, should be around 13.2-13.5V.
