ok this is due to a broken clock spring ,, its a common problem.. fix is listed below.. ps you will need to have a diagnostic tool, a key and a bit of experience ,, if you dont I suggest you get a maechanic to do it for you, the procedure is complicated a bit..
Firstly purchase a new clock spring for your vehicle.. (the clock spring is a device that fits in the steering that turns with it. It provides power to your air bags.
DISCONNECT BATTERY TERMINALS
TURN STEERING ALL THE WAY TO THE LEFT
- remove steering by using key and unscrewing it.
- remove clock spring by unjacking the wires and lifting it out.
- turn clock spring all the way to the left
- install clock spring and jack wires and steering back in
- tighten steering key lock
- use a diagnostic tool and clear error code
thats it your done..
