I have a 2002 cadillac deville, The left rear window and lock don't work. Where is the door module location for left rear door. Any dianostic suggestions

The door module for that door is actually located inside of that door. You have to remove the door panel to gain access to it. Each door has it's own module on your car;)

Passger door wont open from the outside the door handle is loose

The door handle assembly may have just come loose from the door. It is attached from the inside and is accessed by removing the inner door panel. Removing inner door panels is usually not that difficult once you find out how they are attached. The first thing to do is locate any screws that are visible and remove them.(usually phillips head) I usually remove the ones along the bottom of the panel and then look for any hidden screws on the bottom of the armrest. If the door has electric windows then it might be necessary to remove the window switch to gain access to any remaining screws. Next, use a flat blade screw driver to pry the door panel away from the door. You can wrap the screwdriver with tape to avoid damage to the painted surface. The door panel is held on to the door with press fit pins which are reusable. Once the panel is removed, you should be able to repair anything that is needed.

Need to replace front door window motors

Electric Window Motor REMOVAL & INSTALLATION Ranger
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Open the window. Remove the trim panel and watershield and support the window.
  3. Disconnect the power window motor connector.
  4. There may be a drill dimple in the door panel, opposite the concealed motor retaining bolt. Drill out the dimple to gain access to the bolt. Be careful to avoid damage to the wires. Remove the motor mounting bolts and remove the motor and regulator assembly.
  5. Separate the motor and drive from the regulator on a workbench.
  6. Installation is the reverse of removal.
  7. Check for smooth operation before installing the trim panel.
Except Ranger
  1. Raise the window fully if possible. If not, you will have to support the window during this procedure. Disconnect the battery ground.
  2. Remove the door trim panel.
  3. Disconnect the window motor wiring harness.
  4. There may be a drill dimple in the door panel, opposite the concealed motor retaining bolt. Drill out the dimple to gain access to the bolt. Be careful to avoid damage to the wires.
  5. Remove the motor mounting bolts (front door) or rivets(rear door).
  6. Push the motor towards the outside of the door to disengage it from the gears. You'll have to support the window glass once the motor is disengaged.
  7. Remove the motor from the door.
  8. Installation is the reverse of removal. To avoid rusting in the drilled areas, prime and paint the exposed metal, or, cover the holes with waterproof body tape. Make sure that the motor works properly before installing the trim panel.

Power window off track

Remove the door panel and the armrest. Then you will need to slip a thin flat blade screwdriver under the panel and gently pry up to release the plastic keepers that attach the door panel. Then you can remove the panel and gain access to the window regulator and track. Be gentle prying out the plastic keepers so you don't damage the panel. Some of the keepers may break, but you can get more from Ford or your local parts house. These are a very common piece. Good luck.

How to remove REAR interior door panel 96 DeVille? Problem is to gain access to chrone window sill strip on exterior. Apparently a fastener/clip has popped off and chrome strip is sticking up on end...

Remove the power window switch module - use a 1/2" wide flat bladed tool to pry up on the rear edge. Then CAREFULLY push in to disengage the clip and pull up. Disconnect the electrical.
Remove the trim panel - there are two screws under the the covers at the ends of the door handle, and one behind the inside opener handle cover. BE VERY CAREFULL not to damage these covers.
Gently release the retainer tabs located all around the door panel, and lift up to remove..

How to remove REAR interior door panel? Problem

You'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. If needed, you can pull back the weather seal (can't reuse it, but it's not that important) and you will be able to access everything inside the door
