Have been to ac expert, contacted specialist hose makers and not one can help. surely the metal pipe can be clamped over (the leak is on a bend as my luck would have it), or pipe cut and rubber pipe insert at leak. no wreckers locally have it.

the very fact that the clamps are holding suprises me. GREAT JOB!! i do recomend however that you dont do anymore cutting. go to the auto parts store and what youre dealing with is a garter spring style. these take a special tool that goes inside, just on the outside of the line and pushes inside to push outward on the spring inside holding the line in place.so insert, give a little twist or 2 and pull the line out. they are quite simple once you see how they work. the tools are pretty inexpensive. tell them you need the tool for ford power steering lines. they should know what youre looking for.
SOURCE: Engine overheated because of radiator
5 minutes is a long time to drive a car with no coolant. Does the engine run rough, or miss? Or is it just sluggish and low on power? If it got hot enough, there could be permanent damage to the engine. Overheating can cook the engine oil into a gummy sludge and loses it;s lubricating properties.Check for signs of coolant in the oil. That would indicate a head gasket failure or a cracked head.

Not with a diagram. Clean all the hoses and the pump so that everything is easy to see. Start the engine and get someone to put a little pressure on he steering. You should be able to find the leek.
SOURCE: coolant is leaking from hose/pipe under coolant reservoir
It sounds like the outlet pipe from rear of water pump, which takes the hose from the rear plastic pipe, which is very common problem in Daewoo Leganza/Nubira/Lanos Australian 2.0/2.2 DOHC engines.Either the hose itself, the plastic pipe, or the alloy outlet for the hose on rear of water pump, which is subject to corrosion. You will have to confirm where leak is from, if it is from hose to rear of water pump, you can try re-clamping hose or replacing hose, if it is corrosion of that outlet, the part is available @$40-60 new, but it is a fairly major job because timing cover timing belt and then water pump must be removed...it is a difficult workspace in front of and behind that engine, the manifold and alternator are both in the way , it may be possible to do it in car but you may even be better off removing engine to work on.Good news is that this is a great opportunity to replace T-belt and water pump and pulleys at the same time..Sorry its not that great a news, its not a very easy DIY job, but it is do-able if you have some experience and tools.
