More than likely a tire is out-of-round.

SOURCE: Honda Accord steering vibration

this sounds like an issue with the power steering rack and pinion unit, poss one of the internal O ring seals leaks when cold, try using LUCAS oils power steering conditioner, it is the only one I know of that really works, also I would recommend you flush the power steering fluid before you add this product.

SOURCE: 2001 chevy silverado steering wheel vibration problem

bent alloy, bent steel rim, broken belting inside of tire(caused from hitting a good size hole). lug nuts not torqued to correct ft lbs, outer or inner tie rods, toe/ cmber out of adjustment. Are the tires wearing? If not, forget the camber/toe

David, If you feel the vibration in the seat and not the steering wheel, this means the vibration is coming from rear of car, may be a bad rear tire.

There is a wobble in the steering wheel between 80 and 90 km/h what could it be?

A steering vibration at high speeds is usually a result of front tire imbalance. A loose or worn front suspension or steering component can sometimes cause a vibration as well. You should check over all the joints (ie: tie rods, ball joints, track bar etc) and if that checks out have the front tires balanced.

Driveline vibration at approx. 80 km/h (only) no noticeable play in the joints 94000 km

hi, the first thing you need to get checked is the wheel balancing if you feel the vibration through the steering wheel then this usually points towards the wheel balance being off balance usually happens if a weight has fallen off or the tyres been changed so get the balance checked at anywhere the replaces tyres.
They wont charge much for doing this and it will only take 15min to do so they can check this whilst you wait.

The second cause could be that the track rod end needs replacing this is least likely but can cause the problem your having.

I hope i have given you some idea of what to look for.

Let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok

2006 Ford Ranger vibration on steering wheel and noise @ 110 Km/h

Check your brake rotors and make sure they are not warped. another option could be a wheel bearing issue but i think that would be highly unlikely(they usually whine and it get louder as you go faster)
. Also to look at is did this suddenly appear AFTER you had the truck's shocks serviced?
If so then have another shop check it over and explain to them that one shop did such and such service..got a vibration/noise and could you check the safety of it? loose bolt...a forgotten part..you get the idea. hope i gave you some leads at least.

Transmission shafts growl and the steering wheel vibrate

Either a loose nut or a broken/crack washer /rubber in the front transmition. AThis a headache to any dealer because the fron transmition will be dismantle to check on every piece. The reason it starts a60 is because the force/torque upon the washer and disapears at 100 because the force/torque upon the piece is so big the lock again
