I cannot find my owners manual of my 2004 Honda CRV and need to reset my radio. I have the reset code but need the instructions on how to reset it.

Method for all Honda/Acura vehicles except '03-'07 Accords with navigation system

1. The code is five digits, which will correspond to the radio station preset buttons that are numbered 1 through 6.
2. While the radio's display is showing COdE, punch each preset button once, IN THE ORDER GIVEN.
Example: Code is 62531. Hit the right-hand (6th) button first, then the 2nd from left, then the 5th from left, and so on.
3. If you have done the order correctly, the radio should start working after the last digit has been entered. If it does not, then you have made a mistake. You may try up to ten times (only three times on some models!), after which the radio will lock up and you need to then either disconnect the car's battery or wait one hour before trying again. If you disconnect the battery, disconnect both cables from the battery, then touch the cable ends together. Some radios have capacitors that will keep the memory alive for up to ten minutes. Touching the cable ends together will discharge the capacitors.
4. If you make a mistake in code entry part way through, CONTINUE entering ALL digits of the sequence of five, even if they are just random! You MUST finish the sequence of five in order for the radio to allow you to restart the sequence. or you can go to a honda dealer for instructions on how to reset radio. have a good day !!

I called volvo got the code punched in and radio shows EEE after code is put

if you punch in 3 consecutively with a wrong code, the EEE message will be displayed. in order to erase this, you need to place your ignition key at # 1 and switch on the radio and leave it at least between 4 to 6 hours. the code display will come back and re-enter the correct code.

Replaced battery in 1996 Honda Accord which deactivated radio.

You need to code ..punch in code then power radio up and it will work. For a fee if its the original radio for this car the code can be retrieved by the dealer. If you entered to code incorrectly more than 4 times you will need to disconnect battery for 30 second and re-enter code. good luck and thanks for using FIX YA

My radio is broken

Hopefully, there is still a Anti-Theft Radio Identification Card in your glove box or with the Owner's Manual.

The five digit number has to be punched into the radio using the preset numbers on the radio. If you make a mistake punching in the numbers do not stop. Complete the 5 digit code even if it is wrong. Then try punching in the correct code again. Even if "CODE" is still displayed after you enter the correct code, input the code again. You'll have about 10 tries to do this and then if you still can't put in the correct code, you'll have to sit it out for about an hour before you can try again.

No card? Snoop around the car -- glove box, storage unit under the seat, all the papers relating to your car etc. to see if there is something with a 5 digit code.

Failing that, then you have to get the serial number off the back of the radio which means having to take the trim panels off etc. and then contacting your Honda dealer with the radio serial number.

Before you resort to that, give them a call first and see if your VIN number will enable them to come up with a code for you.

Hope this helps.
