Call 888-648-7820 which is the Mitsubishi "hotline".
What they'll need from you is 2 sets of numbers located on the radio. All you need is a Phillips head screwdriver and a butter knife. Underneath your radio you will see 2 screws, take those out and life up the plastic cover that surrounds your radio. Take the butter knife and gently pull out your radio. On the top of the radio are a bunch of number/letter codes. Just write them all down and call the number above. You will be on the phone for maybe 5 minutes giving the person your information, but at the end you will have your code!
I had to do this when I bought my Spyder. Hope I helped somebody!
look in your glovebox and see if you have one of these cards. they come with every new mitsubishi.
if not you'll need to pull out the radio and take it to the service department at your local mitsubishi dealership. they will enter the serial number off the sticker on radio into their computer and give you the unlock code.
You can take the radio out get the number off the top and call your dealership with the number. The dealer will give you the 4 digit number or charge you $80 to give it to you.
The battery cables were disconnected for a short time
So where do i find a code to enter so my radio/cd player will work?
