Looking for year on chevy 1500 frame the# is 3998750-287

some where around 2003 year models, GM stopped putting in line fuel filters on the trucks. If it has one , it will be on the inside of the frame rail, drivers side near the transmission cross brace.

I have one question first how did you measure the fuel pressure at 45 psi it should be 66 psi .
I would take a good look at the in line fuel filter before I replaced anymore parts .
It should be on the frame rail some ware under the drivers door look for the lines from the pump

CHECK FUSES, ALSO LOOK @ RELAY, IT MIGHT HAVE ITS OWN FUSE, NEXT TO IT. POWER COMES FROM BATTERY THRU IGNITION SWITCH, TO RELAY. THEN TO PUMP. THE MOST OVERLOOKED PART OF THIS CIRCUIT IS GROUNDING !!! WHY DOES EVERYBODY IGNORE THE GROUNDS ? WITHOUT IT YOU GOT NOTHING ! NO POWER ! RE-ESTABLISH GROUND STRAP FROM PUMP HOUSING @ TANK TO THE FRAME. EVEN IF THE GROUNDS LOOK OK, THEY SHOULD BE REPLACED. EVEN @ YOUR ENGINE, ALTERNATOR, ETC., THE GROUND RETURNS THE POWER TO THE BATTERY & BACK THRU THE CIRCUIT, COMPLETES THE CYCLE, SIMPLE, EASY, COULD BE YOUR ISSUE ! INSPECT ALL WIRES ALONG FRAME FROM PUMP TO FRONT OF TRUCK, FOR DAMAGE, CORROSION, ETC., ON A LOT OF VEHICLES THE WIRE HARNESS THAT CONNECTS THE PUMP TO MAIN HARNESS GOES BAD CAUSE OF ITS REAR LOCATION, SALT, DEBRIS, ETC., HOPE THIS INFO HELPS YOUR PROBLEM !

Look at your question again. Do you really expect that someone would be able to answer that?

You may be lucky and the fuel filter is still on the inside frame rail under the drivers door. 2004 was the change off year and 2005 was defiantly the no serviceable fuel filter.
You can go to the dealer with your vin number and they can look up in there system if you have the external fuel filter, or you can just look for it on the inside of your frame rail.

some only have a sock in the gas tank other wise look in the frame rail under the cab

get under the bed you have 4 to 6 bolts that run on each corner of the bed to frame rails , look thru holes in frame for big bolt heads to remove the bed, easy , hope this helps you ,thanks robert b.

Well first you need a floor jack to put under bottom a-frame, then unhook shock from bottom a-frame or take off completely its up to you, unhook sway bar from bottom a- frame, and remove caliber off rotor and hang it off to the side, when all thats done you will have to pop the bottom ball joint, then you can put in new axel. Should not take more than 2 hours to do.

check along the rails starting at the fuel tank, some are mounted below driver area, others on frame rail at right rear

if you still have one it will be on the frame rail right about the transmission crossmember on drivers side. this is around the year chevy started using the in tank filter which you dont replace
