There is a plug on the side of the transmission 22mm wrench size I believe, use a small wire or your finger to check the fluid level, it should be at the top of the bolt hole, when adding use a small hose or funnel and when the fluid starts coming out of the hole the fluid level is full.

there is a standard tow bar and a 2000kg for genuine tow bars
you need to remove both tail lights,the bumper bar and reinforcement bracket, spare wheel and exhaust hangars on rear mufflers, remove the tie down bracket on LHS chassis rail(dont need this or the bolts that hold it on), so you can then bolt in place either of the 2 tow bars.
genuine wiring patch harness for trailer plug is my suggestion since its plug straight into vehicle and interfaces with vehicle, goes in right hand rear compartment remove lid then remove box, interface connector for trailer harness is there.

some new kits dont come with instructions in kits because information is on dealer computers
there is a template to print out to cut hole in bumper bar for tounge area of tow bar, uses centre square dimple in bar but its a bit wider.

As fitting a tow bar to the vehicle requires a modification plate to be fitted to keep it legal I suggest that you have the job done by accredited tow bar fitting specialists. They have the correct wiring loom and the plate to fix to the vehicle for the modification

You have to fix the problem. Once fixed you can clear it with a coder,scanner, or 50 key on and off.

Now I have done that, when I take off in drive or reverse I have to rev it heaps to get movement. I took approx 3.5 ltrs out and could only get 0.75ltrs in. There is an air breather on top so I ran the engine until all the air bubbles stopped, tightened that, topped it up again, breathed it again then still the same result. There is a large bolt wth 5 sides, not the usual 6, that is on the top of the transmission. I have tried my hardest to undo it but to no avail (not enough room to get 2 hands on to crack it and not enough strength to do one handed). If I take that one off I'm sure I can get enough fluid in.
